Dear Homeowner,
Our Sun City Hermosa Board of Directors election was conducted on May 4, 2021. There was no quorum to elect a new board, our Inspector of Elections declared it invalid. The Board of Directors of Sun City Hermosa Association is kindly requesting you to share your ideas for our community’s improvement. Thus, we are inviting you to become a member of the Board of Directors.
Our current financial outlook is great, in the last 2 years homeowners have done a great job improving our community. Our $90 yearly dues will not increase and will remain stable for years to come. As we continue our financial recovery, we have a few goals to accomplish this year, one of them is to comply with new California laws, and update our governing documents as required by new regulations.
We understand that you may feel hesitant, you might be worried about how much time you need to commit to the role. Serving on the Board of Directors will take up a bit of your time, that being said, we employ a great management company, Diversified Management, that does most of the work. We conduct most of our work as board of directors through emails. Our management company does the community inspections, but some of us will also drive the community sometimes as well.
Purchasing a home in our community association offers many advantages, but at the same time does impose a bit of restrictions. These restrictions are not meant as an inconvenience or invasion of freedom but rather as a means to preserve, protect, enhance the value of the community and its homes, enhance the lifestyle of the residents, and provide for a harmonious atmosphere within the community.
We are asking you to join the Board of Directors because we believe you as a community resident may possess the right qualities that can help us as a community. We want to hear your ideas on community improvement as well as your thoughts on making our community better.
